Elyvo reads your screen to understand what you are working on. If its own window were included in that capture, the model would be looking at the assistant instead of your work — and at its own previous answers. Excluding the window keeps the context clean. It is not a claim that your data never leaves your device: to generate suggestions, Elyvo sends meeting audio to a transcription provider and screen context to AI providers. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent and to whom.

Elyvo Assist is a desktop application for macOS, Windows and Linux. It runs alongside your other windows and is summoned with a hotkey over whatever you have open — a video call, a browser, your IDE, a document.

Yes. Elyvo is not a plugin for any single app. It floats over any window, so it works over Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, a browser tab, your IDE or a slide deck without integrating with them.

Meeting audio is streamed to Deepgram for speech-to-text. Prompts, screenshots and relevant transcript context are sent to AI providers (OpenAI, OpenRouter, Google) to produce suggestions. Your account, sessions and transcripts are stored on our servers in Germany. Every processor is listed in the Privacy Policy.

Very likely, yes. Recording and transcribing other people is regulated, and many countries require you to inform participants or obtain their consent first. Elyvo gives you the tool; complying with the law where you are is your responsibility. If you are unsure, do not record.

Elyvo runs on points: every new account gets 150 points free, and an hour of live session costs about 150–250 of them. Top up with a pack when you need more — Preview is $5 for 500 points, Core $25 for 2,625, Ultra $50 for 5,500. There is no subscription, and points never expire.

It transcribes and remembers your sessions, but that is not the point of it. A notetaker records what was said. Elyvo reads what is happening while it happens and suggests the next move — the sharper answer, the fact you half-remember, the direction to take. The transcript is a by-product.

Yes. Elyvo keeps memory across sessions, in three layers. Personal memory holds how you work and is private to you. Project memory holds a project’s decisions, terminology and open questions, and is shared with that project. Session context is the live meeting. So the next meeting starts with the relevant history already in place, instead of a blank slate.

No. Personal memory and project memory are kept separate by design. What Elyvo learns about how you personally work is not poured into shared project context. Moving something from personal to a shared project is a deliberate action, never automatic.

It does not silently learn, and it does not train its own models on your data. Elyvo suggests facts that might be worth remembering, and only the ones you confirm are kept and used. You can see, edit and delete everything it remembers. The underlying AI models are third-party providers, described in the Privacy Policy.

Yes. Every remembered fact — personal or project — is listed and can be edited or deleted. Nothing is remembered without your confirmation in the first place, so your memory never fills up with things you did not choose.
